Nightly Vent

I have a good guy, a loyal boyfriend who loves me and will protect me. I have the type of guy that every girl dreams of having, so why can’t our relationship be right too? It used to be, nothing could break down our bond. Now we break up get back together all time, arguments and fights everyday. I’m disrespectful and I say cruel and hurtful things to. And through it all he never wants to let me go, he has never broken up with me and I can see and feel how much he truly loves me. So if he can give me everything why do I tear him down and hurt him so much? I know I love him and care about him but I’ve lost how to express it now.

Bobby Hutton.

He joined the Black Panther Party at the age of 16, in 1966. On April 6th, 1968, he was traveling in a car with a few other Black Panther members, when they were ambushed by the Oakland police. They ran for cover in a building nearby. When the police finally threw tear gas into the building, Hutton stripped down to his underwear so that the police would know he was unarmed and he walked out.

The police shot him 12 times. At the age of 17, Bobby Hutton was murdered by the police.
